Each bar averages five ounces.

Ingredients: Saponified oils of coconut, palm, castor and safflower; glycerine, water, goats milk, honey, berry extract, glycine soya protein, titanium dioxide, basil essential oil, lemongrass essential oil, basil leaves.

Some folks just seem to prefer a salve to an oil when it comes to rubbing it on. And I’m okay with that! And so Ma Cobb’s Joint Salve — with all the active ingredients of Ma Cobb’s Joint Liniment, plus capsicum oil for extra penetrating power.

A base of olive oil, coconut butter and beeswax with black pepper, eucalyptus, rosemary, capsicum and lemon essential oils — to which I’ve added a generous dollop of menthol crystals and arnica oil. It’ll clear your sinuses too!

I make all of my products by hand, using only natural ingredients. Each jar contains one and a half ounces of liniment. NOT TO BE USED INTERNALLY.

Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut butter, beeswax, capsicum oil, eucalyptus essential oil, lemon essential oil, arnica oil, black pepper essential oil, rosemary essential oil, menthol crystals, vitamin e oil.

A blend of chamomile, peppermint and fennel seed — all known for their beneficial effects on the digestive system — makes my Happy Belly Tea both tasty and effective. I drink it even when my belly isn’t upset, it tastes so good!

A calming blend with a lovely scent and flavour, Ease Your Nerves Tea combines chamomile, borage, lemon balm, lavender and roses — all herbs known for their calming properties.

Ingredients: Chamomile, borage, lemon balm, lavender, roses.

The malic and acetic acid in apple cider vinegar also help boost the immune system — and apple cider vinegar is quite simply the best base available for tinctures.

I pour the apple cider vinegar over ground echinacea root, then let the whole sit and steep for six weeks before straining out the root. It goes into one-ounce brown glass bottles topped with a convenient eyedropper.

At the first sign you’re getting sick, take a dropperful of tincture every hour or so until you start feeling better. DO NOT use this tincture for more than a week at a time, or it will overstimulate your immune system.

Ingredients: Apple cider vinegar, echinacea purpurea root.

Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme make a nummy lip balm, subtle in the tin though it warms on your lips to a lovely flavour reminiscent of a medieval spice market.

My lip balms are made with carefully-selected herbs and essential oils in a base of olive oil, beeswax, and vitamin E oil. I use only all-natural ingredients. Each tin contains one ounce of lip balm.

Ingredients: Olive oil, beeswax, infused parsley, sage essential oil, rosemary essential oil, thyme essential oil, vitamin e oil.

Black walnut hull powder, myrrh powder, goldenseal root powder, and tea tree essential oil work together in a base of kaolin clay and cornstarch to make a gentle, soothing treatment for athlete’s foot, yeast infections, and jock itch.

The jar contains an ounce and a half of Itchiban Powder, and like everything else in my shop, I make it by hand from only the best natural ingredients.

Ingredients: Cornstarch, kaolin clay, black walnut hull powder, myrrh powder, goldenseal root powder, and tea tree essential oil.
