Mullein Tincture
Mullein — otherwise known as lamb’s ear — is known, among other uses, as a sovereign remedy for treating asthma, coughs, and other breathing problems. While I can’t legally claim any medicinal value for it I can tell you that since I’ve started taking this tincture I only have to use my inhaler half as often as I used to — and the friend who turned me onto it hasn’t touched an inhaler in years.
I harvest the mullein myself and steep it in apple cider vinegar for a couple of months before filtering it and bottling it up. And that’s all that’s in it — mullein leaf and apple cider vinegar.
I recommend drinking about an ounce a week, unless you’re fighting off a cough; then perhaps an ounce a day. That’s about a shot glass full. It’s got a strong flavour but you’ll feel it going to work right away!
Each bottle holds twelve ounces — three month’s worth of tincture.
Ingredients: Apple cider vinegar, wildcrafted mullein.
Price: $15
